Comments

• When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

 

Media

• If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How Long We Retain Your Data

• If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
• For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

 

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

 

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Acceptance of Donations Terms & Conditions:

• Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of Common Ground CRN. Common Ground CRN will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Common Ground.
• No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.
• Common Ground CRN will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.
• Common Ground CRN will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of Common Ground CRN.
• Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Common Ground CRN.
• Common Ground CRN will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Common Ground CRN.
• Common Ground CRN will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, Common Ground CRN will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.
• Common Ground CRN will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders’ fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Common Ground CRN. Thank you for providing your support which helps funnel aid back into Community where it is needed most.

 

NOTE:

• Common Ground CRN is 100% volunteer based and no board member receives monetary compensation for managing or supporting this organization. All funds received are funneled back into resources and aid as well as all activities or actions which support those endeavors.
• Common Ground is a non-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization with a 3-person board member team.
• Common Ground does not have a brick-and-mortar facility.
