Our destinations are often toward areas that are adrift and without additional resources to help offset life’s greatest adventures. Often times we stumble across a community that has limited support and running on fumes. Most times surviving without access to some of the most basic resources like; grocery stores, pharmacies, medical care clinics, job opportunities or affordable education avenues. Towns built on roads that once flourished with commerce but now stand still as days blend into one another. Stores shutter closed one-by-one till only a few stragglers remain among what once was a bustling main street. New businesses rarely open for fear of the invisibility and risk when lost among the pull of city lights.

A tapestry of towns where you will find Common Ground driving locally and afar. Each point of arrival as different as the last in terms of the urgent situation or critical needs. We blanket each stop with our compassionate-action network built upon C.A.R.E.—a 4-point organizational strategy focused on positive changes no matter where we go. We offer Community, Advocacy, Rescue and Education in no certain order. Our goal is to sustainably provide ‘hope and hands’ to make a temporary problem better. Short- or long-term endeavors flow on and off our Common Ground road but the conclusion should be the same every single time—support given across the miles toward those in need no matter the horizon line.
